Groupon Finds & How to Save on Discounted Deals

*Disclaimer: I may receive a small commission for items purchased through links in this post.
All opinions and recommendations are my own.*

The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, right? Well, ladies, my name is Kelly Moran and I am addicted to Groupon! I check the app daily for new deals on name brand goods and services and have saved a ton.

For anyone who’s not familiar with Groupon, it’s an e-commerce marketplace that connects you to local merchants by offering discounted activities, travel, and services, along with discounted goods from retailers in more than 28 countries.

Yes, there is an app, so you can download it right to your phone and get notifications when new deals are available.

What’s great about Groupon is that it’s not just some site to buy discounted goods. You can purchase vacations, dinner vouchers, concert tickets, massages, spa packages, cosmetic treatment, home decor, gym memberships, and so much more.

This site makes for the ultimate gifts as well. I’ve ordered so many holiday and birthday gifts for people with literally just the click of a button. Spa packages are my go-to gift for female friends and for the guys, they have a bunch of sports memorabilia.

If you don’t yet have an account, click here to create one. Note, it’s important that you complete your profile because Groupon will actually highlight deals that you’re interested in. If you download the app on your phone, Groupon will target your location and recommend deals based on where you are.

I’ve gotten some pretty amazing beauty products, jewelry, and fashion deals from Groupon. But there’s always a way to save even more on already reduced prices.

  1. When browsing through products, if you click on a deal to view it and don’t purchase it, you’ll receive a notification if the price ever drops.
  2. You can use coupon codes on top of the already discounted price. Sometimes Groupon will e-mail you special codes for 20% or 10% off and you can always use Google to find codes you may not be aware of.
  3. Refer a friend and receive $10 in Groupon Bucks. You will be provided a link through your account to share with friends and once they create an account and make their first purchase, $10 will be credited to your account. You can also do this by sharing products on your social media and e-mail and the same incentive applies.
  4. Look out for $5 Deal Days and special savings events. You’ll receive e-mails about these when you sign up and they will be highlighted on Groupon when browsing. (Right now, Cyber Monday in March deals are taking place!)

I personally like to use Groupon to try a lot of beauty and hair products that I wouldn’t necessarily buy for full price in the store.

Biovène Gold Face or Eye Masks

The Biovène Gold Face or Eye Masks is my most recent purchase and I definitely recommend it. I purchased the face masks which come in a pack of 4 for $9.99 and find them extremely useful in revitalizing and hydrating my skin.

My skin type is acne prone and oily but is super sensitive to products and dries out very easily. These masks have no alcohol or oil which works great for my skin type. I wash my face with soap and water, apply the mask for 30 minutes, and my skin feels refreshed.

Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Hair Masque

The Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Hair Masque worked wonders on not only my hair, but my mom’s too. After washing your hair, you apply the mask to your entire head and comb through and leave for 7 minutes, then wash out. I didn’t notice a huge difference after rinsing and was skeptical, but the results were there after blow drying my hair. No frizz, a healthy shine, and silky texture came after just one use. Keep in mind that I have very thick hair, so I was extremely surprised at the results. My mom took it to try as well and has coarse textured hair and said she loved how soft it made her hair feel. This product comes in 3 sizes. I got the 8 oz for $15.99.

Art Naturals Dead Sea Mud Mask

Another great facial product, the Art Naturals Dead Sea Mud Mask helps to clean pores and minimize their size. Again, I have sensititve skin that tends to dry out which did not happen when using this product. It left my skin feeling healthy and refreshed. I like to use a makeup brush to paint on the mask in an even layer, leave on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. This 8.8 oz. jar is $10.99.

Freshlook 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara Kit

This is my absolutely favorite purchase I’ve ever made from Groupon. The Freshlook 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara Kit is the only mascara I will ever use again. I bought my first fiber lash mascara about 2 years from Groupon because it was cheaper than I saw on any other beauty site and it is MAGIC. It comes with two tubes, one of the actual mascara which acts like a glue and the other contains the fibers. Depending on the length you want, you apply a coat of the mascara then the fibers and repeat until you have your perfect length and thickness. People think my lashes are fake because that’s how perfect this mascara is. I’ve recommended it to so many people and for $19.99, it will last you about 4 months which is a lot cheaper than any fake lashes you’ll buy.

Alien Eau de Parfum for Women

Alien Eau de Parfum for Women
is a real steal for just $39.99 for a 1 oz. bottle. This scent contains a top note of Indian Jasmine, woodsy heart notes, and a base note of warm white amber o make a floral-wood fragrance. With this, a little bit goes a long way. Two or three sprays is all you need and the scent lasts all day. I love it. It also makes for a great gift for someone.

Halo Stud Earrings Made with Swarovski Elements are extremely elegant and look very expensive.

Halo Stud Earrings Made with Swarovski Elements

For $12.99 you get a round pair and princess cut pair both containing Swarovski elements. They’re very lightweight so they won’t stretch your ear down like heavier earrings do. They come in a little pouch which isn’t the prettiest, so if you’re giving as a gift, you might want to invest in a small earring box.
I wear mine all the time and you’d never guess they were just $12.99.

Browse the site for yourself. Warning, I lose track of time while browsing through their endless amount of deals. Don’t say I didn’t give you the heads up!
